Overlord Season 4 & Movie Are In The Works

During a live stream special streaming marathon for Overlord, it was announced that the anime TV series is getting a fourth season and a brand new movie, which will cover the Sei ÅŒkoku-hen (Holy Kingdom Arc) from the manga.

The first 13-episode Overlord television anime series premiered in Japan back in July 2015. The second season of the anime series premiered in January 2018 and ended in April 2018, while the third season premiered in July 2018 and ended in October 2018.
The first two seasons are currently available on Netflix.
Overlord is an isekai story and setting which take place in the year 2138 when virtual reality gaming is booming. Yggdrasil, a popular online game, is quietly shut down one day. However, the protagonist Momonga decides to not log out. Momonga is then transformed into the image of a skeleton as “the most powerful wizard.”
The world continues to change, with non-player characters (NPCs) beginning to feel emotion. Having no parents, friends, or place in society, this ordinary young man Momonga then strives to take over the new world the game has become.

Overlord is a Japanese anime based on the Japanese Dark Fantasy novel series of the same name. The first season comprising of 13 episodes premiered on September 29, 2015.
Overlord Season 4It was followed by two more seasons of 13 episodes each. The third season ended on October 2, 2018, and from then the fans are wondering why there is no sequel.
