We May Be Getting Persona 5 For PC, Xbox, & Nintendo Switch In The Far Future…
Thanks to Sega’s global success with RPG title Yakuza: Like A Dragon, the company may consider releasing Atlus and Persona RPGs to other platforms and consoles in the near future.
According to a Famitsu interview with Sega’s Chief Strategy Officer and general manager of Asia and Japan Studios Shuji Utsumi, he said that a simultaneous release of an Atlus game on multiple platforms will be favourable for our titles.
“Of course, we have to make adjustments on a per title basis, but we want to be conscious of global expansion not only for Sega, but also for Atlus titles as well. Other highlights in the interview include:
On a related note, Shin Megami Tensei V will be out worldwide in 2021 for Nintendo Switch. We’re not sure if that date will change given the state of the world right now.
