Back 4 Blood Trailer Shows Off Its Cast Of Playable Characters

Publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer Turtle Rock Studios have released a brand new trailer for Back 4 Blood, which introduces the game’s playable cast of characters. There are eight of them and they’re referred to as the Cleaners who are ready to eradicate the Ridden (what the zombies are called in the game).

Previous Left 4 Dead games have only had four playable characters each, so it’s interesting to see that the developer has included even more choices in its latest game, which is essentially Left 4 Dead 3 in all but name (since Valve owns the franchise IP). Each of them even comes with its own unique traits and advantages.

Back 4 Blood is slated to release for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on 12 October 2021. The developer also previously confirmed that they’re planning to launch a Back 4 Blood open beta sometime in summer 2021.
