While I had fun with Biomutant, I sure as heck wouldn’t call it flawless. In fact, it’s riddled with a good number of jank that will turn off a number of players. Thankfully, developer Experiment 101 is on the case and is going to fix the game bit by bit.
The first patch of Biomutant will include “bug fixes and changes based on community feedback”, with the patch arriving for PC first before it hits consoles. These include:
- The pacing of dialogues,
- Narrator settings,
- Difficulty settings,
- Video settings including depth of field and motion blur,
- Loot and enemy tuning,
- Combat sounds.
We are working on the pacing of dialogues, narrator settings, difficulty settings, video settings like depth of field and motion blur, loot and enemy tuning as well as sound and combat.

I’m happy that the 20-person development team are going to keep tweaking Biomutant post-release. Even with some of its problems, it’s great to see a developer’s vision out in the wild and still being given some TLC. If you need some hot tips on how to have Biofun, head here.
