Resident Evil Village is out now, and if you complete it (hopefully we can help), chances are you’ve unlocked some in-game achievements that net you Challenge Points. What are Challenge Points (CP)? CPs are what you get if you perform certain feats and actions in-game. For example, finishing the game on Standard difficulty will net you CPs.

Why are CPs important? Because you can unlock extra content, concept art, movies, and most importantly, infinite ammo for weapons you’ve maxed out in your first playthrough. Oh, and you can also get The Mercenaries mode through the CP extra content store.

How To Earn CPs

That’s the easy part: just play the game. Finish the game once on either Standard or Hardcore difficulty; you’ll eventually earn a lot of CP points on your first go.

The only trick here is keeping track of what you need to do.

Not Lycan This… – Survive the lycan attack.

Four Lords – Escape the mine at the early parts of the game.

That Sucked! – Defeat the mutated Dimitrescu.

Got No Strings – Defeat Donna and Angie

Fish Out Of Water -Defeat mutated Moreau.

Up Urs! – Defeat Urias in the stronghold.

Temporary Measures – Place the Giant’s Chalice in the ceremony site.

Iron Giant Down – Defeat the mutated Heisenberg.

The Root of the Matter – Find the Megamycete in the underground ruins.

Best Dad Ever  – Finish the story on at least Standard difficulty.

World’s Best Dad (31,000CP) – Finish the story on Hardcore difficulty.

Universe’s Best Dad (100,000CP) – Finish the story on Village of Shadows difficulty.

Crafter – Craft an item in the Crafting Menu.

Hobbyist – Craft 60 items in the Crafting Menu.

Survivalist (11,000CP) – Craft 150 items.

Master Survivalist (38,000CP) – Craft 300 items.

Patron – Purchase something from the Duke in the story.

Petty Thief – Unlock 1 simple lock with lockpicks.

Cat Burglar (15,000CP) – Unlock 15 simple locks with lockpicks.

Repairer – Combine a treasure into its complete form.

Treasure Hunter (7,000CP) – Complete all combinable treasures.

Hunter – Hunt an animal during the story.

Poacher (13,000CP) – Hunt 40 animals during the story.

Get the Ball Rolling – Solve a Labyrinth.

Goooaaal! (3,000CP) – Move the ball from the Winterses’ bedroom into the study.

Squawk Shot (7,000CP) – Shoot down five flying crows in the story.

When You Gotta Go… (3,000CP) – Open the door to every outhouse in the village in a single playthrough.

Hooligan (8,000CP) – Break every breakable window in Castle Dimitrescu in a single playthrough.

Quit Hanging Around (3,500CP) – Shoot down a Soldat hanging from the production line in the factory.

Geologist (10,000CP) – Shoot down 15 different valuable minerals.

Push Comes To Shove – Push away an enemy after guarding in the story.

Trick Shot (3,000CP) – Defeat an enemy from long range with the sniper rifle in the story.

Strategist – Defeat at least three enemies with one attack in the story. Red barrels are your friends here.

Medium Rare (3,500CP) – Set fire to a Moroaica in the story. Moroaicas are the zombies with the swords in RE Village.

Fast Reflexes (8,000CP) – Knock a flaming arrow out of the sky with a close combat weapon in the story.

Leader of the Pack ( CP) – Take down the Varcolac Alfa in the story.

Timber (20,000CP) – Defeat Urias during the first lycan attack when you enter the village.

Unstoppable (20,000CP) – Defeat 30 lycans during the first lycan attack when you enter the village.

Entrapment (4,000CP) – Defeat 20 enemies with other enemies’ attacks in the story.

Butter Fingers  – Make a Moroaica drop her weapon in the story.

Down to Earth (5,000CP) – Defeat a Samca with a landmine in the story. They’re the flying gargoyles.

Strip Miner – Remove all the armor from a Soldat Panzer in the story.

Head Trauma (4,000CP) – Defeat 150 enemies with a headshot (including melee weapons) in the story.

Slayer – Defeat 300 enemies in the story.

Butcher (12,000CP) – Defeat 600 enemies in the story.

Executioner (50,000CP) – Defeat 1,500 enemies in the story.

Pew Pew (11,000CP) – Defeat 200 enemies with handguns in the story.

Boom Stick Wielder (12,000CP) – Defeat 100 enemies with shotguns in the story.

Sharp Shooter (12,000CP) – Defeat 80 enemies with a sniper rifle in the story.

Fire in the Hole (14,000CP) – Defeat 50 enemies with the grenade launcher in the story.

30 Big Holes (28,000CP) – Defeat 30 enemies with magnums in the story.

Dakka Dakka (27,000CP) – Defeat 180 enemies with assault rifles in the story.

Pineapple Ace (13,000CP) – Defeat 50 enemies with grenades and pipe bombs in the story.

Mind Your Step (14,000CP) – Defeat 50 enemies with mines in the story.

Lady Killer (25,000CP) – Defeat mutated Dimitrescu in under 2 minutes 30 seconds.

Hide and Seek Master (10,000CP) – Defeat Angie in under 1 minute 40 seconds.

Sashimi (25,000CP) – Defeat mutated Moreau in under 1 minute.

Blitzkrieg (15,000CP) – Defeat mutated Heisenberg in under four minutes.

Photographer – Use Photo Mode.

Lucky Number 7 (14,000CP) – Have 777,777 or 77,777 Lei in your possession in the story.

Anniversary Present (12,000CP) – Have 52,911 in Lei in your possession in the story.

Countdown (12,000CP) – Have 54,321 Lei in your possession in the story.

Make It Rain! (35,000CP) – Get a total of 8,100,000 Lei in the story.

Mapmatician (5,000CP) – Complete the village map.

Cynic – Destroy a Goat of Warding.

Heretic (16,000) – Destroy all Goats of Warding.

Gunsmit – Equip a gun with a customizable part.

Veteran Gunsmith (15,000CP) – Equip every gun with their customizable parts in the story.

Tinkerer (6,000CP) – Create every type of item available in the crafting menu.

Artisan (6,000CP) – Collect every crafting recipe.

Bookworm (14,000CP) – Read every single file in the story.

Don’t Trust That Snake Oil (35,000CP) – Finish the story only using four or less recovery items.

Dashing Dad (30,000CP) – Finish the game within 3 hours.

Frugal Father (22,000CP) – Finish the story without spending more than 10,000 Lei.

Dense Dad (45,000CP) – Finish the story without crafting items.

Storming the Castle (8,000CP) – Complete the Castle stage in The Mercenaries once.

Mass-Reduced (10,000CP) – Complete the Factory stage in The Mercenaries once.

Night Fighter (20,000CP) – Complete the Mad Village stage in The Mercenaries once.

Gun Slinger (50,000CP) -  Achieve at least an A Rank on all stages in The Mercenaries.

Legendary Cowboy (70,000CP) – Achieve at least an S Rank on all stages in The Mercenaries.

Overkill! (20,000CP) – Deal over 10,000 damage with a single attack in The Mercenaries.

Ability User (5,000CP) -Use 10 abilities in The Mercenaries.

Ability Expert (30,000CP) – Use 22 abilities in The Mercenaries.

Doll Collector (1,000CP) – View all character and weapon models.

Art Collector (1,000CP)- View all concept art.

Shopping Addict (3,000CP) – Obtain 200 items from the Extra Content Shop.

Villager (3,000CP) – Complete 30 challenges.

Overachiever (12,000CP) – Complete 70 challenges.

Can You Farm Challenge Points Rewards Via Past Saves?

Yes, you can!. You can quickly farm challenges by reloading saves as their progress still counts to the game’s system data. In other words, you can load a previous save (preferably when you have access to the Duke) max out a weapon to earn its Infinite Ammo option, then buy it with whatever CPs you have left.
