[Rumour] Warner Bros Montreal Might Be Working On A New Superman Game

Warner Bros’ game divisions aren’t working on just Gotham Knights.

A recent Warner Bros Montreal job listing hints at a brand new AAA game. According to a PCGamesN report, the listing is for a Senior Gameplay/Animation Programmer who can “work with its game development team responsible for a new IP, AAA title” who will optimize “cross-platform gameplay systems” and “NPC behaviours”. WB Montreal is “focused on developing games that expand the DC universe in the interactive space”; keep in mind that its upcoming game Gotham Knights is currently being wrapped up.

So what does this mean? All signs seem to point towards the long-rumoured Superman game. Concept art for that leaked online last year, and the aforementioned new IP will most likely be something outside the Batman universe. We won’t know until the next DC games showcase, which will take place in the next big online comic festival.

Gotham Knights will be out in 2022.
