PUBG Mobile, one of the world’s most popular mobile games, is pleased to announce its official partnership with one of the world’s fastest-growing global character brands, LINE FRIENDS. The partnership will introduce the globally well-known iconic characters of LINE FRIENDS into the game, such as BROWN, CONY and SALLY in the form of limited-time themed items.

Starting from 18 June 18 to 14 July 2021, PUBG Mobile players will have nearly four weeks of themed events, content and challenges to look forward to in this exciting combination of two popular entertainment universes. This partnership between PUBG Mobile x LINE FRIENDS will feature multiple timed events that will run until 14 July 2021.

Meanwhile, several LINE FRIENDS themed items will also be available in-game from 24 June 2021. Players will also be able to redeem discount coupons by completing various new missions in the event centre.

The PUBG Mobile and LINE FRIENDS partnership schedule are as follow:

• “Play With Your Friends” In-game Event: (Phase 1) Come and give likes: June 18 – June 22 and (Phase 2) Afternoon Tea Decoration: 23 June – 30 June 2021
• #FRIENDSQUAD Community Challenge: 20 June – 27 June 2021
• In-game Redemption Event: 24 June – 7 July 2021
• Partnerships Items available: 24 June – 14 July 2021

In the first event, PUBG Mobile and LINE FRIENDS invite players to “Come and give likes” to outfits displayed in the virtual shop window. Players will receive likes every time they log into the game. On 22 June 2021, players who have given likes consistently will be able to receive the time-limited LINE FRIENDS themed outfit “CONY Set.”

With the second phase of the event that begins on 23 June 2021, players will also be able to complete daily missions to achieve ‘Afternoon Tea’ items. These items can be used to decorate their virtual dining table. After collecting enough Afternoon Tea items, players will be able to receive the time-limited Dino BROWN Backpack (Level 3).

Players can also stay tuned for the #FRIENDSQUAD Challenge, an exciting community event that begins on 20 June 2021. Those who take part will have the chance to win exclusive LINE FRIENDS items, so this is not a challenge to miss!
