Final Fantasy XV Director’s Studio Working On Two Major Gaming Projects

JP Games, the video game studio led by Final Fantasy Type-0 and Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata, will be working on two new game projects.

According to a Famitsu report, JP Games will be collaborating with a major company to get these games underway. Tabata states that both games are large-scale titles. The first game has finished pre-production; it’s a high-speed RPG that’s experimental and is the evolution of Final Fantasy Type-0. The game will be a condensed RPG experience and is playable multiple times via multiplayer.

The second title is a global triple-A nomadic RPG that’s essentially an evolution of Final Fantasy XV, focusing on free exploration. Guess you can’t stray too far from what you’re previously good at. As for who the major company is, we can guess that it may be either Bandai Namco or Sega (by extension, Atlus).
