Guerrilla Collective 2021: Our Favourite Indie Games From The Livestream
By KakuchopureiVerified|June 6, 2021|0 Comment
The indie gaming train isn’t stopping anytime soon this weekend. Here’s what we loved from the recent Guerrilla Collective 2021 livestream today. You can catch the archived stream on Twitch.
This long-awaited cyberpunk action-adventure game with RPG elements is still looking sharper than usual. Coming soon in 2021 for PC and consoles.
You play a fox who can change to three different classes in an isometric action-adventure RPG world. From the looks of things, the game evokes the spirit of 3D platformers of yore. Available in Q1 2022 for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. A PC demo is out now.Â
A pretty cool-looking 2D pixel-based Metroidvania-style game with some emphasis on challenge and difficulty. You play a girl named Rubi who has to overcome a world filled with science and magic disasters. Comes with multiple playstyles and endings; out for PC and Nintendo Switch soon.
Cthulu meets Dark Souls meets Metroidvania meets Darkest Dungeons. That’s how we can sum up this upcoming 2D action-adventure gothic game where you play a sorcerer fighting chaotic-looking monstrosities. Coming out soon for PC.
A 3D high-speed action game made by a small team, this sci-fi title is slated for PS4 and other platforms for Autumn 2021.
A couple of long-distance lovers in 90s try to reconnect when their respective places are on fire and in chaos. Looks pretty light-hearted and insightful, and probably has a message about maintaining long-distance relationships. Out 12 August for Nintendo Switch and PC.
A survival horror first-person perspective RPG, you play a man named Igor who is investigating the disappearance of his fiancee in the Chernobyl Power Plant Exclusion Zone, which is probably filled with anomalies and radiated monsters.
The game is currently in Early Access for PC right now, and will be out in full for PC and consoles in July 2021. The PS5 and Xbox Series versions will be available later in 2021.
A third-person shooter where you’re stuck in a motel with werewolves and other things that go bump in the night. Thankfully you seemed well-armed to survive a few hours of the evening. Also, check out the retro 3D graphics on this killer! Coming soon to PC.
Need a lo-fi chillax 2D thumbstick shooter game? Well, give this one a shot! Out for Xbox consoles and PC later in 2021.
Probably the craziest reveal of the bunch. The game trailer starts out being an open-world crafting game featuring fantasy pets you can command and control. And then you start using them as animal shields and cover while you’re firing with your AK-47, and then have most of them working in assembly lines like slaves.
The game is slated for 2022.
