Gust Announces Blue Reflection: Second Light RPG, Out This October…

Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Gust, known for the Atelier series, is making a JRPG featuring high school girls and summer vacations.

The game is called Blue Reflection: Second Light and is a sequel to the first Blue Reflection game back in 2018. You control a girl named Ao Hoshizaki who is stranded in an isolated school on a different dimension similar to Earth with three other girls.

There, they live a strange life together while finding clues to go back to their places of origin, bonding through summer vacations (like Persona 5’s social link/confidant systems) and battling interdimensional horrors with swords and guns. After all, the world is trapped in an eternal summer, so why not relax while you’re at it?

The game will be out on 21st October for PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan, with a PC version coming at a later date. Check out the video and pictures below.
