[Report] Ubisoft Is Working On Assassin’s Creed Infinity

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will have loads of post-release DLC on the way. This begs the question: will there be an AC sequel coming? The answer might be a “yes”.

According to sources close to Bloomberg, Ubisoft is hard at work on a new project codenamed Assassin’s Creed Infinity. The game will be an online platform that will take place in multiple historical settings and evolve over time ala Fortnite and Grand Theft Auto Online’s maps and layout.

AC Infinity is designed to run for years and feature a ton of settings, which is in contrast to the one setting per game rule the series is known for. The game “might look and feel different, but they will all be connected”, encompassing multiple different AC titles. The upcoming game is years away from being ready and released.
