Hey, Buddy! – Gives you an AI-controlled buddy. Assigned randomly. Each perk upgrade gives you a better ally.

Heat of the Battle – Deal -90% damage, but you get +2% for each hit in a combo. Damage bonus applies as long as the combo meter is active.

Blood Thirst – Hitting enemies will heal you for 8% of the damage, but healing items will not heal you anymore.

Golden Pipe – Gives you a gold pipe that deals extra damage. Great for characters like Floyd and Adam who have good reach with pipes.

Golden Knife – Gives you a gold knife that deals extra damage. Good for characters like Blaze who has their own exclusive knife attacks.

Golden Boomerang – Gives you a gold boomerang that deals extra damage.

Thanks for the article but you didn’t mention “rewards”.

As you get to higher and higher levels in the Survival mode you unlock rewards which change the main game.

You said that new weapons are only available to use in Survival mode but this is not strictly true. Rewards include unlocking the new weapons in the main game. Once you have unlocked a “weapons pack” reward (there are several) the weapons in that pack will be sprinkled into the main game, albeit very conservatively. For instances, the umbrella can be found under an exploding cannister on Stage 3 – The Ship.

So far the highest level I have reached in Survival is Level 27. The next reward is earned at level 30 but that’s pretty hard to achieve. I was wondering if anyone has a list of all the rewards.
