Gundam Evolution Is A Team-Based Online Shooter For PC, Featuring Gundams Of Course

We’ve seen Mobile Suit Gundam games in action titles, hack-and-slashers, turn-based strategies, RPGs, and fighting games. But in a team-based shooter ala Counter-Strike and Overwatch? Not yet, at least until now.

Bandai Namco just announced Gundam Evolution, a PC first-person/third-person multiplayer team-based shooter game featuring Gundams and mechas in the Gundam universe shooting the crap out of each other for points. Playable mechas (presumably with hero powers) in the game include:

  • Gundam RX-78-2
  • Gundam Barbatos
  • Ashimar
  • GM Sniper II
  • Dom Trooper
  • Sazabi

The game is slated for PC and is a free-to-play shooter, with a 2022 release date. Check out the trailer & fresh gameplay below.
