Ubisoft Delays Rainbow Six Extraction And Riders Republic
The second half of 2021 will be a lot less crowded, as Ubisoft has made the right decision to take its time with its games.
Rainbow Six Extraction, a Tom Clancy game featuring team-based co-op shooting and aliens, will be out in January 2022. Riders Republic, an extreme sports game featuring dirt biking and jet-powered wingsuit gliding, will instead be out on 28th October instead of 2nd September.
Here’s what Ubisoft said regarding the Rainbow Six Extraction delay:
“Our ambition with Rainbow Six Extraction is to deliver a full-fledged AAA experience that changes the way you play and think about cooperative games.
We are embracing the opportunity to take additional time to bring this vision to life in the way it deserves in January 2022. We are confident this will ensure Rainbow Six Extraction is the immersive, cooperative, and thrilling experience we set out to create, and the one you aspire to play.”
The delay may have a lot to do with the recent reception the game received from YouTubers and press.
