You Have 6 More Days To Crowdfund This Definitive FPS Documentary
Fandamental, a content creation company that loves making niche factual documentaries and pieces of entertainment, is currently gathering funds via Kickstarter for its upcoming documentary on gaming’s most popular genre.
Fandamental is creating a documentary called First Person Shooter which will explore the creation and legacy of the most influential FPS titles from the last 48 years like Wolfenstein 3D, Doom Quake, Unreal, Goldeneye, Half-Life, Halo, and many more. The three-hour documentary will be packed with tidbits, tech talk, and exclusive interviews with FPS luminaries like Warren Spector, Cliff Bleszinski, Scott Miller, John Romero, and many more.
Once fully funded, the film will be worked on and will be scheduled for a Q4 2022 release window. Right now, its Kickstarter campaign sits at US$89,000, which is well past its US$44,000 goal. There are six more days left before the campaign closes, so do support this if you’re into seeing a possibly definitive history of first-person shooters.
