[Report] Horizon: Forbidden West Will Be Delayed To 2022
Multiple sources have confirmed that the further adventures of Aloy the metal dinosaur hunter will be delayed to 2022.
Sony planned to release the Horizon: Forbidden West, the sequel to Horizon: Zero Dawn, in Holiday 2021, but delayed it to Q1 2022 according to Bloomberg and Venturebeat. Previously, PlayStation Studio lead Hermen Hulst said in June that the sequel was “on track to release this holiday season”, but did not put a date to it. We think that the pandemic may have a lot to do with this alleged delay.
A possible PlayStation event that’s due in September may actually confirm this new release date, along with other release windows for titles like God of War 2/Ragnarok. That game’s slated for 2022. To which we say: take all the time you need. We can wait.
