Free Fire Is Now The Sponsor Of The Brazilian Football Team

Free Fire is an immersive battle royale game created specifically for mobile gamers. Developed and published globally by Garena, Free Fire achieved a record high of over 100 million peak daily active users in 2020.

According to Prime Time Zone, Free Fire is the newest sponsor of the Brazilian national football team. The partnership was announced by Free Fire developer Garena and the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF). The sponsorship will last for two years.

What this means is that not only will we see Free Fire on the jerseys of the Brazil national football team, but the deal will also allow for the Brazilian team’s jerseys to be featured in the game as skins. Free Fire will also appear on advertising boards at training camps and in interviews.

Garena Brasil Operations Director Fernando Mazza said:

“Like the Seleção, Free Fire is a success in the country and accessible to all Brazilians.

This partnership is one of CBF’s most strategic recently, as it will bring us even closer to an extremely relevant audience for our market, which is the gamer.”

Free Fire is extremely popular in Brazil, boasting over 80 million active users a day and was the most downloaded mobile game in the country in 2020. Even the official Free Fire Brasil YouTube account has over 9 million subscribers.

You can download Free Fire for free on the Apple iOS App or Google Play store.
