Take-Two Is Working On Three Unannounced Remakes & Remasters

Take-Two’s Q1 earnings reveal for its 2022 fiscal year shared some highlights about its portfolio. This includes “New Iterations of Previously Released Titles”.

The company is planning on making remakes and remastered ports of its older games. These include:

  • Grand Theft Auto 5 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
  • A standalone Grand Theft Auto Online release for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
  • Kerbal Space Program for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
  • Three more unannounced remasters/remakes

The company has three unspecified projects under the “New Iterations” category mentioned above. The publisher is mum about which label will be handling those games. Just keep in mind that Take-Two owns 2K Games, Rockstar, and Private Division, so either one of these will be on it.

We’re guessing it’s got a lot to do with the BioShock franchise since it’s been a while since the company starting going down that well. Either that, or a remake of a Rockstar classic like Bully or Midnight Club; the possibilities are endless!

Take-Two will also be announcing a new game this month, which is most likely going to be that Marvel XCOM project from Firaxis. We can’t wait!
