MPL Malaysia Season 8 Hit Peak Viewership Last Week

MPL Malaysia Season 8 Week 2 kicks off today. In contrast to last season, the peak concurrent viewership (PCU) of Week 1 in MPL MY Season 8 hit a high of 82,532 during the match between TODAK and HomeBois. Compared to Week 1 of Season 7, the PCU for this season increased by 34 percent.

The viewers displayed great interest in the match thanks to VINS’ performance, as he was enacting revenge on his former team; TODAK, which let him go. VINS proceeded to join HomeBois and made a splash during the ‘revenge’ match.

Here are the questions we have ahead of the upcoming matches:

  • The battle between Red Esports vs Team Bosskurr is one of the most highly anticipated fights for this week – given that Mom and Mali have left and are facing their ex-teammates once again. Will they, like VINS, emerge victorious against their old team?
  • Is TODAK going to pull out any special metas, and will they bring out Ciku to play as jungler?
  • The long-standing rivalry between Bosskurr and GEEK FAM continues. Will the team be able to pull off another upset against GEEK FAM this season?

You can catch all the action on the following MPL Malaysia’s social channels:
