Bravely Default 2 Is No Longer A Nintendo Switch Exclusive After Next Week

One of this year’s best traditional JRPGs is getting a PC release.

Square Enix announced that Bravely Default 2 is going to be on PC this 2nd September via Steam. You can get a 10% discount for the game if you buy it before 13th September.

Bravely Default 2 is the most recent entry in the Bravely Default series where you control four party members who are out on a grand adventure to save the world, and have to recover elemental crystals just like in a traditional Final Fantasy game plot. The game features multiple Jobs you can switch between, a nifty Brave and Default mechanic where you can store turns and launch an all-out attack (or blow them all and get penalized), and a brutal difficulty that requires you to grind on end and level up your Jobs to get the best skills to succeed.

Bravely Default 2 also features a kick-ass soundtrack from the composer who made the Attack on Titan score. Oh, and a pretty addictive card minigame which gives Triple Triad a run for its money. For more on the game, read our review of the Nintendo Switch version.
