Man Arrested For Killing Overwatch Brazilian Voice Actress
Justice may have been found for Overwatch fans, particularly Brazillian players.
Christiane Louise de Paula da Silva, the Brazillian voice actress for Mercy, was killed last month (via Overwatch Reddit and Twitter). The Civil Police managed to find and arrest the suspect: an economist by the name of Pedro Paulo Goncalves Vasconcellos da Costa.
Pedro was reported to have killed her in her apartment with a broken chalice. The motive for the murder was that he was intending to keep the actress’ belongings and inheritance. Previously, he confessed to the crime for reasons of self-defense. Previously, they were friends and met in 2017 in a psychiatric clinic. He recently went through a crisis and was staying at her apartment in Ipanema.
