Stardew Valley is one of the most popular farming simulator games out there. Well, if Farming Simulator can have esports, what’s stopping Stardew Valley from having its own?
Nothing, In collaboration with @UnsurpassableZ, developer ConcernedApe has announced the first-ever official Stardew Valley cup. It will feature a prize pool of US$40,000 and take place at 12 am GMT+8 on 5 September 2021.

In a video on YouTube, Unsurpassable Z explained that there will be a hundred different challenges in the Stardew Valley Cup. Each completed challenge is worth a particular number of points based on the difficulty. Each team will compete simultaneously to rack up as many points as possible across the duration of the tournament. These challenges include completing tasks in the community centre to reaching floor 100 in the Skull Cavern.
