Y The Last Man TV Series Gets Epic First Trailer

FX’s highly-anticipated TV series adaptation of Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra’s Y The Last Man has finally received an official premiere date.
The showrunner for FX’s Y: The Last Man is Eliza Clark of Animal Kingdom and Killing fame. Actor Ben Schnetzer will portray protagonist Yorick Brown, a young escape artist who finds himself and his pet monkey, Ampersand, to be the last two surviving males on Earth after an apocalyptic event that annihilated everyone with a Y chromosome.
The cast for Y: The Last Man also includes Diane Lane, Ashley Romans, Olivia Thirlby, Amber Tamblyn, Marin Ireland, Diana Bang, Elliot Fletcher and Juliana Canfield. Vaughan himself will be an executive producer, along with showrunner Eliza Clark, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Mari Jo Winkler-Ioffreda, and Melina Matsoukas.
Running from 2002 to 2008, Y The Last Man is a post-apocalyptic science fiction comic book series by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra. It follows the adventures of a young escape artist, Yorick who found himself along with his pet Capuchin monkey named Ampersand to be the last two surviving males on Earth following a cataclysmic event that wiped out all living beings with a Y chromosome.
Y The Last Man will premiere on 13 September 2021, exclusively on FX on Hulu. The season features ten episodes in total, and the first two will premiere on the debut date.
