Dying Light 2 Is Delayed To 2022
In an expected but warranted move, Techland will be delaying its first-person zombie parkour game Dying Light 2.
Originally slated for 7th December this year, the upcoming title will instead be out on 4th February, 2022, for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. The official reason is that the game needs more work.
“The game is complete and we are currently playtesting it…Unfortunately, we’ve realized [that] for us to bring the game to the level we envision, we need more time to polish and optimize it. We are sorry to keep you all waiting a little longer, but we want the game to meet your highest expectations on release and we don’t want to compromise on this.”

This also means that February is going to be 2022’s most-stacked year for gaming. Dying Light 2 will have to vie for everyone’s attention alongside games like the new Saints Row reboot, the PS5/PC action game Sifu, Destiny 2’s new expansion The Witch Queen, the new Evil Dead game, and Horizon: Forbidden West.
