Shigeru Miyamoto broke through today’s early morning Nintendo Direct for 24th October to talk about the upcoming 3D animated Mario movie from animation studio Illumination.

First up, the star-studded voice cast. Here’s the line-up.

• Chris Pratt as Mario.
• Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach.
• Charlie Day as Luigi.
• Keegan-Michael Key as Toad.
• Jack Black as Bowser.
• Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong.
• Charles Martinet (the OG Mario voice) in cameo roles.

The movie will be out in North America in December 2022, with a Holiday 2022 release schedule for the rest of the world.
