Supercrooks Is An Upcoming Netflix Anime Series Based On Mark Millar’s Series

Mark “Hollywood-tailored” Millar, a comic book writer known for Wanted and Jupiter’s Legacy, is getting his old-school supervillain comic book series Supercrooks adapted into anime form.

The series is about supervillains doing one last super-powered heist against a super-rich supervillain. Penned by Millar and drawn by Leinil Yu, the anime adaptation of Supercrooks will be Netflix exclusive, since the first look at the series is on Netflix’s global Tudum fan event.

The anime is directed by Motonobu Hori, who did the hit anime Carole & Tuesday, and the series will feature a “pop” vibe in its art and visuals.

Tsuda Kenjiro will be voicing main character/thief Johnny. Maaya Sakamoto will be voicing Kasey, Johnny’s partner-in-crime. The show will be out later in 2021.
