The Book Of Boba Fett Arrives This December

Disney+ has announced that Star Wars’ The Book Of Boba Fett Season 1 will premiere on 29 December 2021.

It was originally announced in December 2020 during The Mandalorian Season 2 finale.

Here’s the official synopsis via Disney:

“The Book of Boba Fett,” a thrilling Star Wars adventure, finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the Galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.”

Perhaps we’ll see a trailer debut on Disney+ Day, which is slated to take place on 12 November 2021.

Both Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen will reprise their roles as Boba Fett and Fennec Shand, respectively. Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni and Robert Rodriguez (all of whom are also involved with The Mandalorian) will be executive producers of the new series.

The Book Of Boba Fett is the eleventh Star Wars TV series to be announced after the ten previously-announced ones, which includes an Ahsoka series and more.

In the meantime, check out my breakdown of The Mandalorian Season 2 finale and what it might mean for Season 3.
