Halo Infinite Multiplayer Technical Preview Happening Over Next Two Weekends

Update [1/10/2021]: The Halo Infinite multiplayer technical preview/beta is live right now this weekend (1-3 October). Go play it now.

343 Industries has announced that Halo Infinite will be holding two more multiplayer technical previews during the next two weekends.

According to the official blog post, the first Halo Infinite multiplayer technical preview will take place from 24 September 2021 to 27 September 2021. However, keep in mind that this beta will only be open to Halo Insiders who registered before 13 September 2021. Players who are eligible will have received confirmation emails.

The second Halo Infinite multiplayer technical preview takes place from 1 October 2021 to 4 October 2021. More specific details on who will be eligible for the second weekend of tests will arrive next week. There will also be a Halo Infinite live stream on 23 September 2021 on the Halo Twitch and YouTube channels, which will feature a new look at the 12v12 Big Team Battle mode.

During the multiplayer technical previews, players will only have access to multiplayer from 1am GMT+8 to 5am GMT+8 from Friday to Sunday during both weekends. Training Mode, Weapon Drills, Battle Pass, and Customization are the only modes that will be available.

The reason for is because:

“[The Halo: Infinite tests’] matchmaking will only be up for a set amount of time each day in order to help us test our servers against the highest concurrency possible.

While this does mean shorter time for players to go hands on, it’s critical to our primary goal of ensuring that our online services are ready for launch.”

Halo Infinite is slated to release for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on 8 December 2021.
