The Live-Action Cowboy Bebop Struts Its Stuff With A Lost Session Teaser

Netflix just released a new Cowboy Bebop teaser dubbed “Lost Session”.

It’s basically the production house showing off how a live-action Cowboy Bebop is pulled off. The results? It ain’t half bad, with the slick editing and 70s aesthetics mixed in with the show’s original music.

Look: nothing is ever going to top the original anime series and live up to its long-lasting magnificence. But, if someone were to put a gun on Netflix’s head to make a live-action adaptation featuring John “multitalented” Cho pulling off the Spike Spiegel hair with his own follicles, this teaser seems like a good way to pull it off. Believe me: as someone who has seen shitty anime adaptations like Fullmetal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell, Attack on Titan, and Death Note, things could have looked & played out worst.

Then again, Faye’s costume could have been less butch and more femme fatale. The live-action Cowboy Bebop will be out on Netflix this 19th November; the anime will be out this Thursday.
