Co-Op Horror Shooter GTFO Will Leave Early Access “Later This Year”

Sci-fi horror co-op shooter GTFO, which is essentially Left 4 Dead but sci-fi and horror alien things trying to kill you instead of zombies, will finally leave Early Access after two years of being in development.

Developer 10 Chambers announced that GTFO’s version 1.0, the launch version of the shooter, will be out “later this year”2021. You may need to buy it now if you haven’t because the game will be getting a price hike on 1st November; at US$39.99 to be exact. Right now, the game is RM138.

10 Chambers is clearly not done with GTFO even if version 1.0 is out, as the team will be expanding the game beyond its 50+ expeditions and 5 Rundown segments. The game’s narrative director Simon “I did Bionic Commando Rearmed’s Soundtrack” Viklund said that the company will continue on with the Rundown updates.

The version 1.0 update will also feature a lot of graphical improvements like better glass rendering and a new third-person animation system, as well as a communication wheel and improved matchmaking. For more on GTFO, check out the gameplay preview from MathChief below.
