Red Solstice 2: Survivors Gets New DLC Today

Red Solstice 2: Survivors, a pretty awesome squad-based real-time tactical strategy RPG involving alien extermination and space marine management, is getting some DLC today.

The new DLC is dubbed the Howell-Barrex Inc. and also comes with a Season Pass, introducing a new story campaign, pilotable destructive Exoskeletons to destroy aliens with, and new gameplay mechanics. Here is the DLC’s story:

“The fall of Elysium Corporation created a power vacuum Howell-Barrex Inc. was happy to wield to its advantage. As the Strike Commander, follow the story of Edward Howell, General Barrex, and the IRON HAWKS in their campaign to fend off the STROL mutants invading Mars. Reign victorious solo or with up to seven friends wielding devastating new armaments across 11 new story missions, 28 side missions, and eight new maps.”

That’s quite a bunch of additions for RM22/S$13, especially if you already love Red Solstice 2’s gameplay and real-time combat. The title will also be getting three more major updates in 2022 and beyond, so you can get the Season Pass which gives you the Howell-Barrex Inc. DLC and three more DLCs for RM79/S$45.5.

Red Solstice 2: Survivors is out now for PC. We played a few hours of the strategy game, and it’s pretty fun!
