Diablo 2: Resurrected Latest Patch To Make Joining Games Easier Than Usual

Diablo 2: Resurrected, the remaster of the classic action RPG of the 2000s, has been getting a lot of flak for its online implementation and server issues as of late. Blizzard is clearly on the case of fixing it, starting with patch 11.5.

The latest Diablo 2: Resurrected patch for both PC and console makes it so that there’s in-game messaging telling you how much time is left before a player can create or join another game. In addition, players who attempt to join a game that is already full will instead automatically join another game instead of having to wait, along with better adjustments as to which players can join and create games based on current server capacity.

To be fair, the development team at Blizzard is working on remaking and reimplementing an archaic Battle.net system back in the early 2000s, so naturally, there would be legacy levels of complications especially since the original team for both the game and its expansion Lords of Destruction aren’t with the company anymore. The code wasn’t designed for modern Diablo fans who somehow love to rapidly create games for quick farming, then abandoning it after to create another.

On a related note, Diablo 4 is delayed indefinitely, even though it never had a release date/window to begin with.
