Star Wars Rogue Squadron Movie Delayed

Star Wars Rogue Squadron, the upcoming sci-fi show directed by Patty Jenkins that’s basically Top Gun but with Star Wars, is getting delayed.

The movie’s production schedule is now in limbo; previously it was scheduled for 2022. The show’s release date is still 22nd December 2023, but that’s most likely going to be pushed back.

Rogue Squadron was revealed in late 2020, with Jenkins saying the film serves as an inspiration from her father’s life as a fighter pilot. The film is intended to be an original film with great influence from the Rogue Squadron games and books.

“There’s a lot of things being acknowledged and understood about the greatness of all of those things.”

Hopefully, she doesn’t add in elements from her last film, which was Wonder Woman 1984. That was….a film that existed.
