STONKS-9800 Stock Market Simulator Lets You Bend The Economy & Waifus In 80s Japan

Do you love the 80s? Do you love numbers? Do you love gambling? Do you love waifus?

If you love all of the above, STONKS-9800 Stock Market Simulator by developer Ternox has a great retro aesthetic to boot; it looks like a PC-88 game that’s super-heavy with text and pixelated anime visuals. It’s basically a simulator of a businessman on the Japanese stock market in the 80s and 90s.

You’ll be able to play the market by buying stocks and managing the economy. You know, stock market stuff. And what do you do with all that money? Spend them on gambling, horse racing and pachinko machines, of course.

STONKS-9800 Stock Market Simulator currently has a demo available on Steam, and is due to release in January 2022, but it will also be coming to the Nintendo Switch and multiple other console platforms sometime later in 2022.
