Outriders Gets A November Update & A 2022 Expansion

Looks like it’s time to return to Outriders later this month and maybe 2022.

Square Enix and People Can Fly have announced the free Outriders update called “New Horizon” and the upcoming paid expansion called “Worldslayer”. The free update is out right now and features four new Expeditions, a new Transmog system, the removal of timers in Expeditions, new weapon skins, rebalanced Classes, and an overhaul to Tiagos Expedition store. This update is basically People Can Fly’s way of upgrading and improving the issues that plagued Outriders.

The Worldslayer expansion will be out in 2022 and will explore the secrets of Enoch. Here’s a quote from the developer about it:

“We’ve been hard at work improving the Outriders experience, and with the free ‘New Horizon’ update we’ve improved and addressed the majority of player feedback ahead of our major 2022 expansion—‘Worldslayer,’” said Square Enix External Studios co-head of studio Jon Brooke in a press release. “So there’s no better time than now to start, restart, or continue your journey through Enoch in what is now the ultimate version of Outriders.”

Hopefully this fix will be better than what Square Enix tried with Marvel’s Avengers.
