Warner Bros. has released the first full trailer for DC League Of Super Pets or DC Super Pets. It was originally first unveiled during DC FanDome 2021.

In this animated movie, Krypto the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime in Metropolis side by side. When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto must convince a rag-tag shelter pack; Ace The Bat-Hound, PB the potbellied pig, Merton the turtle and Chip the squirrel—to master their own newfound powers and help him rescue the superheroes.

The voice cast is as follows:

• Dwayne Johnson as Krypto the Superdog, Superman’s dog.
• Kevin Hart as Ace the Bat-Hound, Batman’s dog.
• Diego Luna as Chip, Green Lantern’s squirrel.
• Natasha Lyonne as Merton, The Flash’s turtle.
• Vanessa Bayer as PB, Wonder Woman’s pig.
• John Krasinski as Clark Kent/Superman, Krypto’s owner.
• Marc Maron as Lex Luthor.

Jared Stern wrote the script for DC League Of Super Pets and is co-directing with Sam Levine.

DC League Of Super Pets is loosely inspired by the Legion of Super-Pets, which debuted in 1962’s Adventure Comics #293 by Jerry Siegel, Curt Swan and George Klein and consisted of Beppo the Super-Monkey, Comet the Super-Horse, Krypto the Superdog, Streaky the Supercat and later grew to include Detective Chimp, Proty II, Bat-Cow, Flexi the Plastic Bird, Clay Critter and Titus.

The new animated movie is slated to premiere on 20 May 2022.
