With less than a month to go until Spider-Man No Way Home, it looks like Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are ramping up the marketing and promotion for the upcoming movie. The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s version of the Daily Bugle (which was first introduced in 2019’s Spider-Man Far From Home), now has a real-life TikTok account.
You can find it on TikTok by the name @TheDailyBugleOfficial. The description for the account teases “breaking news on Spider-Man you can’t get anywhere else”. Despite that, I don’t think we can expect to see big spoilers like a possible Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield reveal.
The TikTok account’s first few posts are of intern Betty Brant (Angourie Rice reprising her role) announcing her new position at publication and another that features J. Jonah Jameson (J.K. Simmons) calling out Spider-Man as the “spider-menace”. In addition, you can also download a Daily Bugle reporter pack available via a link on the account to gain access to your own TikTok Daily Bugle background.
