Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV Is Getting A 4K Remaster Release

Square Enix has announced that Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV is getting a new 4K remaster box set, which will launch on 9 February 2022. It will cost 13,200 yen or roughly RM492+.

The Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV 4K remaster box set will come with two Blu-Ray discs, an art card, a scenario book, and “File Fragments.” As reported by Gamer, it will also feature audio commentary from the production team, including the game’s Director Takeshi Nozue.

To celebrate the release of the 4K remaster, Square Enix has also launched a special promotional website, which features several screenshots featuring remastered scenes from Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV and pre-order bonuses for certain stores.

For those unfamiliar, Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV is a 3D CG animated movie that runs parallel with the events at the beginning of Final Fantasy XV, focusing on the Kingsglaive, an elite combat corps who protect King Regis (Noctis’ father) and defend the kingdom of Lucis and its Crystal from the invading empire of Niflheim.

Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV was originally released in July 2016, several months before Final Fantasy XV launched in November 2016.
