Disney+ Obi-Wan Kenobi Behind The Scenes Video Teases Darth Vader Duel
By Alleef Ashaari|November 13, 2021|0 Comment
During Disney+ Day, a special behind the scenes video was unveiled for the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi live-action series. While the preview did not include any footage from the series, it did reveal some interesting concept art.
As of now, you can only watch the video on Disney+ or Disney+ Hotstar itself by heading to this link.
Check out what the concept art could mean below:
This concept art shows an Inquisitor escorted by two Stormtroopers getting off an Imperial transport.
What’s interesting here is that she looks a lot like the Second Sister from Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order.
This looks like Coruscant, the capital of the Empire (formerly the Republic). Will Obi-Wan Kenobi be returning here?
Yes, Darth Vader has a castle or fortress on the planet Mustafar, where he was originally burnt in Star Wars Episode III Revenge Of The Sith. This location was also seen in Rogue One A Star Wars Story and Star Wars Episode IX The Rise Of Skywalker, as well as various comics.
The most exciting reveal is this, which teases another epic lightsaber duel between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader.
Obi-Wan Kenobi will be set 10 years after the events of Star Wars Episode III Revenge Of The Sith and presumably before the events of Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope.
It is executive-produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, McGregor and series writer Joby Harold. Deborah Chow will direct Obi-Wan Kenobi after having helmed two episodes of The Mandalorian.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is only one of several Star Wars live-action series currently in the works Disney Plus, including The Mandalorian Season 3, The Book Of Boba Fett, Ahsoka Tano, and many more.
Other cast members include:
Obi-Wan Kenobi is slated to premiere sometime in 2022 on Disney+ Hotstar.
