A Mysterious The Matrix Awakens Game Leaks On PSN

According to a new leak, The Matrix Awakens An Unreal Engine 5 Experience is apparently a playable experience of some sort that will tie into the upcoming The Matrix Resurrections movie.

Originally posted on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, the leaked image shows the backdrop of a city featuring the iconic green Matrix theme with lines of code scrolling by. No details were provided, but the image was discovered on the PlayStation Network backend and that it will be a PS5 title.

The Matrix Resurrections is slated to release on 22 December 2021, so it’s like that The Matrix Awakens An Unreal Engine 5 Experience is a demo or interactive experience to promote that movie. Maybe we’ll even see an official announcement or something at the upcoming The Game Awards 2021, which will take place on 9 December 2021.

It will be interesting to see The Matrix on a video game platform again. It’s been years since the likes of The Matrix Online, Enter The Matrix and The Matrix Path Of Neo.
