Netflix Announces Berlin Spinoff During Money Heist Fan Event

A special Money Heist The Legacy virtual fan event took place recently, where Netflix announced that Money Heist is getting a new spinoff series focusing on the character, Berlin. In the series, Berlin’s real name is Andrés de Fonollosa, who is portrayed by Pedro Alonso.
Netflix’s Berlin is slated to premiere sometime in 2023. However, the streaming giant didn’t give out too many details about the upcoming spinoff. The announcement comes just as Money Heist is officially ending with its final five episodes, which will premiere today on 3 December 2021.
Ãlvaro Morte (The Professor), Úrsula Corberó (Tokyo), Pedro Alonso (Berlin) along with other members of La Banda and the cast gathered to celebrate and share special moments from the series with never-before-seen assets and anecdotes.Â
The hybrid event, attended by local celebrities and fans, was streamed through a digital hub with simultaneous audio translation in 10 different languages. You can watch the entire Money Heist The Legacy virtual fan event below, or check out pictures from the event:

He sent his best wishes to all attending the event, holding an iconic mask, sent to him from Pedro Alonso, and promised to send the Korean mask to his counterpart when it is revealed next year.
