Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Trailer To Debut At The Game Awards: Here’s A Poster To Tide You Over

Update: Trailer added.

Paramount Pictures announced that it will be releasing the trailer for Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (the movie, not the Megadrive game) during The Game Awards 2021 show this Friday. Apt, considering this is The Game Awards we’re talking about.

To keep Sega and furry fans hype in check, here’s a new poster they released, featuring Sonic, Tails flying a plane, and Dr. Robotnik played by Jim Carrey. The 90s is truly alive!

The film will be out on 28th April 2022, and will be directed by Jeff Fowler. Sonic’s voice is provided by Ben Schwartz while Colleen O’Shaughnessey will be voicing Miles “Tails” Prowler, as she has always since 2014. Knuckles will be voiced by Idris Elba, who hopefully will put on a British gangster voice from his Guy Ritchie movie days.
