[Rumour] Persona 3 Will Be Remastered For Modern Consoles & PC

An insider has claimed that Atlus will be re-releasing Persona 3 with remastered graphics and features.

According to Nintendo Life, an insider named Zippo said that Persona 3 Portable (the PSP release of Persona 3) will be getting a multiplatform remaster. That probably means it’s coming out for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.

Persona 3 Portable is the enhanced version of Persona 3 and Persona 3 FES which came out back in 2006. It’s also the Shin Megami Tensei game that catapulted the series to its way to mainstream success before Persona 4 cemented that.

Atlus is celebrating its 25th-anniversary celebration of the Shin Megami Tensei Persona series; it has seven project reveals planned for the next year. We already have Persona 4 Arena Ultimax coming out for current-gen platforms, so re-releasing the Persona game that started it all may be a smart business move on Atlus and Sega’s side.
