Here’s 30 Minutes Of The Gunk, The Next Big Game From The SteamWorld Dig Creators

Image & Form is releasing its upcoming 3D action-adventure title The Gunk, which is a first for them. The team has been making a lot of SteamWorld games ranging from the search action titles SteamWorld Dig to the digital card RPG SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech. All of them are really fun, though we would think the developers may want to try their hand at something different and not 2D.

So far, our experiences with The Gunk is pretty positive thanks to spot-on controls and the game’s overall atmosphere. It’s about scavengers Rani and Becks who have to explore a planet to get resources to settle their debts. Of course, the titular Gunk is in the way, so it’s up to Rani and her vacuum-enabled power glove Pumpkin to literally clean up the region with the power of suction. Check out the gameplay below:

The Gunk will be out for PC and Xbox consoles on 16th December. Stay tuned for our full review.
