Singapore-Set Chinatown Detective Agency Launches In Spring 2022

Ever wanted to be in the shoes of a noir-ish detective exploring a cyberpunk Singapore? Well, that’s the premise of Chinatown Detective Agency, an upcoming game by developer General Interactive Co. and publisher Humble Games. They have announced that the game will release sometime in spring 2022.

In Chinatown Detective Agency, you assume the role of Amira Darma, once a rising star at INTERPOL, now a freshly minted Private Investigator in the heart of Chinatown. The game is inspired by the classic point-and-click games from the 80s and 90s, including Carmen Sandiego.

Fun fact: Malaysian voice actress Su Ling Chan voices one of the characters in Chinatown Detective Agency; a woman named Tiger Lily. If you’re unfamiliar with her, she’s best known for voicing No Straight Roads protagonist Mayday, Cream The Rabbit in The Sonic & Knuckles Show, and more.
