Fallout TV Series Begins Production This Year

The upcoming Fallout TV series will start production this year, according to Amazon Prime Video.

The streaming service also announced key roles for the projects. According to a Deadline report, Jonathan Nolan of Westworld fame will direct the first episode. He will also be producing it alongside Westworld co-creator Lisa Joy’s Kilter Films. Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel) and Graham Wagner (Silicon Valley, Portlandia) will be serving as the series’ showrunners. Todd Howard will be the show’s executive producer from Bethesda Game Studios side, while James Altman will be in the same role for Bethesda Softworks’ side.

The show’s setup will be a mystery, but hopefully it’ll be a series of anthologies set in the wasteland with scenarios tied in together for one grand plot. We’re pretty sure it will involve mutant brahmin, raiders, vaults with people in blue jumpsuits, and Deathclaws.
