Cuisineer, a game from an indie developer from Singapore, BattleBrew Productions, has won first place at the Big Indie Pitch competition.

The Big Indie Pitch is a regular event run by the folks over at PCGamesInsider.biz and Steel Media. The event gives indie developers the chance to pitch their games to industry experts and journalists in a speed-dating-style format. Participating indie developers will receive the opportunity to get feedback on their games, but stand a chance to win prizes such as promotional packages and opportunities to promote their games. This means a small studio like BattleBrew Productions will be getting the marketing help sorely needed from Steel Media and other game sites to get more worth of mouth and PR.

Developed by BattleBrew Productions, Cuisineer is a rogue-lite dungeon crawler combined with a restaurant simulator. It looks like what if Diner Dash meets a rogue-lite like Hades. While managing their restaurant, players will need to engage in combat by going dungeon crawling as well in order to get the resources for their cooking.
