Daredevil & Other Marvel Series Are Leaving Netflix Next Month

It looks like Marvel’s live-action shows on Netflix are leaving the streaming service starting on 28 February 2022 or 1 March 2022. The six shows that originally premiered on Netflix, including Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, The Punisher, Iron Fist, and The Defenders now feature an advisory in the top-left corner that they will soon be removed from the streaming service.

According to sources from Polygon, the rights to the Marvel Netflix shows has reverted to Disney, but Disney has yet to officially confirm or deny the rumours at the time of writing. This isn’t much of a surprise, considering that Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock AKA Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk AKA Kingpin have already crossed over to the Marvel Cinematic Universe via Spider-Man No Way Home and Hawkeye, respectively.

We’ll have to wait and see if there’s any truth to all this, but the signs are definitely pointing in the right direction. It’s time for these characters to be featured in the MCU proper.
