Magic The Gathering Hatsune Miku Collaboration Teased
By Alleef Ashaari|February 3, 2022|0 Comment
Magic The Gathering (MTG) will soon be collaborating with an unexpected IP, none other than Hatsune Miku. Yes, that famous Hatsune Miku, the Vocaloid virtual idol from Japan. The official French Wizards Of The Coast Twitter account revealed the news earlier today.
The tweet features an image of Hatsune Miku on an MTG pack, Kamigawa Neon Dynasty. This latest expansion will feature the return to the Japanese-inspired MTG world of Kamigawa, which was last seen in the 33rd, 34th, and 35th expansions. The new expansion is set 1,200 years in the future, with what seems to be a cyberpunk aesthetic.

More details and information will be revealed tomorrow on 4 February 2022 at 10pm GMT+8. This won’t be the first time that Magic The Gathering has collaborated with another IP. Previously, they have worked together with the Godzilla franchise with kaiju cards, The Walking Dead, My Little Pony and others (check out the full list here).
