James Gunn and John Cena have announced via Twitter that Peacemaker has been renewed for Season 2.

The announcement comes less than 24 hours before the Season 1 finale of the show, which will release on HBO Max and HBO GO after 4 pm GMT+8 on Thursday, 17 February 2022.

Gunn wrote all eight episodes of the first season, and directed five of them, along with Jody Hill, Rosemary Rodriguez, and Brad Anderson.
